Winter League Registration form

BRISTOL FRIENDLY
We have been offered the opportunity to go across the bridge to play a game at Bristol Indoor Bowls on Sunday 28th September at 12.00. A bus will be provided, with charge to be confirmed, but you can make your own way there if preferred. The bus will depart at 10am. All levels of bowlers are welcome to put their names on the list on the notice board and we will attempt to give everyone at least half a game if you travel. They have provisionally agreed to play 6 rinks so we need a minimum of 24-30 players. Start time is 12 noon. There will be a participation fee of £7pp to include the rink fee and light refreshments.

The entry forms for the Winter Leagues are on the notice board in the club. Quite a number have already entered but if you intend entering a team then either:

Forms are available to complete, and league registration payment is to be made at the bar. Kindly note that there will be a separate list on the board if you are not affiliated to, or a member of, a particular team, but wish to play league bowls. Please do NOT put your name down on the TEAM entry forms if you are just an individual looking to play. This causes all sorts of confusion and administrative problems. The WIBA tournaments for male players will get underway in mid-October. There will be entry forms on the notice board so again, get your names down early as I anticipate the closing date for entries to be 15th October 2025 with the draws to be made shortly thereafter. The internal CLUB competition entry forms will be placed on the board after the WIBA forms have been taken down. If anyone has any questions or needs clarification please contact me.
